What is a No Gap check-up?
“Gap” is the difference between what a dentist charges and what your fund pays back. With a No Gap check-up, there isn’t one. For selected preventative services, nib covers the full First Choice No Gap Maximum Charge, and our fees for those services sit at or below that rate.
Selected preventative services include:
- Comprehensive and routine examinations
- Dental X-rays where clinically appropriate
- Professional scale and clean
- Fluoride treatment

Are all my visits gap-free?

Do I have to wait before I can claim?
